A few weeks ago, frog hosted a discussion about the unique challenges of designing for the human body, as part of its Design Mind speaker series. frog Executive Creative Director Robert Fabricant moderated the discussion between Caleb Crye, President of military design firm Crye Associates, and Ethan Imboden, CEO of high-end sexual accessories company Jimmyjane. The talk examined the speakers' design inspirations, business challenges, and product development processes, as well as the mind-body connection and the role their products play in the identities of the individual users.
In an earlier Design Mind event, frog Executive Creative Director Valerie Casey sat down with Method co-founder Eric Ryan for a discussion about the value of design in unconventional industries - Method's well-designed, non-toxic cleaning products have taken American homes by storm. Ryan discussed the impact of design on the user experience, the brand, and the bottom line.
