D/A Clock - analog and digital worlds

The D/A clock concept, from Alvin Aronson, imitates the LED segmented displays with physical segments that slowly fade in and out from the flat surface… Introducing a new intermediate state, the time between 0 and 1 that doesn’t exists in the digital world, it’s usually one or the other.
Being all white, the time is created by the shadow of the physical segments sticking out of the surface.
