Day two of the TED2010 conference included sessions entitled Mindshift and Discovery, as well as the TED Prize Session, highlighted by celebrity chef Jamie Oliver, who is on a mission to educate the world’s children about food and nutrition. TED Curator Chris Anderson kicked off the first day with his usual rousing introduction. David Cameron, the leader of the UK Conservative Party, was a surprise guest. We were particularly impressed by Nobel laureate and Israeli psychologist Daniel Kahneman, who is also the creator of the idea of behavioral economics. Oh, and Sheryl Crow played. She rocks.

Favorite quotes from the stage so far:
“Our future is the sum of our anticipated memories.” — Daniel Kahneman

“Thank you, Daniel, for inventing behavioral economics.” — Chris Anderson, speaking after Kahneman’s talk
