The first European edition of the acclaimed design mind speaker series will examine the shift from hardware to software as the core value of most products. When systems trump devices, is traditional product design dead? How do you design for user experiences that need to manage ubiquitous information and seamless communications' across different platforms, media, and technologies? How do you shape the container if the content becomes ever more fluid and the user more fickle? What will future things look like? Will the future know “things” at all? How do you design for technology that does not look like technology anymore? Product designers, interactive designers, executives from media, telecommunications, and consumer electronics brands, as well as journalists and researchers gather on this panel to discuss the shape of things to come.
